Ride2Airport started with a simple frustration: booking an airport taxi from Luton usually meant calling a national dispatch line that had never actually driven the route, quoting a price that changed by the time the car turned up, and hoping the driver knew which Luton Airport drop-off point you actually needed.
We built Ride2Airport to fix that. We’re based at 105 Austin Road, a few minutes from the terminal, run by people who know Luton, and every fare we quote is the fare you pay.
We’re local, not a call centre. Being based on Austin Road means we know the fastest routes out of Luton at 4am on a Tuesday and at 5pm on a Friday during roadworks season — and we know exactly where to pull up at each Luton Airport terminal entrance.
Every fare is fixed before you travel. You get a price when you book, not an estimate that grows with traffic. Luggage, an extra stop, or the M25 being slow doesn’t change what you were quoted.
Drivers are licensed and DBS-checked. All Ride2Airport drivers hold a valid private hire licence issued through Luton Borough Council and undergo enhanced DBS background checks before they ever carry a passenger.
We track every flight. For airport pickups, we monitor your flight number so a delay or early landing doesn’t mean a missed transfer or a driver charging you for waiting.
Ride2Airport runs fixed-fare transfers between Luton and London Luton, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and London City airports, plus city rides across Luton, Dunstable, Harpenden and the wider Bedfordshire area.
